Her enthusiastic charm becons you closer, inviting you to contribute to the rich tapestry of stories woven by fellow wanderers who’ve passed through this magical enclave.
I just randomly found your website while scrolling through status.cafe. Very neat site, I like how it keeps the old web feel but delivers properly on mobile. Very cool 🙂
Thanks a bunch Airdoggy! I’ve been experimenting with various themes the past few months to see which runs smoothest and most responsive without needing a bunch of tweaking. So far this one seems like the winner! 😄 Still have a few pages to update but it’s coming along. 😊

The holiday aesthetics of your page are so nice! Whole heartedly agree with your opinions on social media these days too. The small web has been such a nice space to decompress and take breaks from it. I still make use of accounts on certain platforms just for freelancing sake between jobs, but I’ve changed extremely with how much I engage or share out in public. The web revival movement has been incredible to take part in with finding folks like yourself and others in the community, and feel a lot more causal and relaxed again about sharing the smaller things on my mind~
Also the poll feature included on the sidebar is so fun! Is that an external web widget of some kind or was it coded from scratch? :0c Would love to include polls of some sort around my own homepage down the road haha!

For a long time I stopped really sharing much on mainstream platforms because I always felt self conscious knowing their policies. Facebook used to be a fun place but it’s become very uptight in recent years. I still have a few mainstream accounts myself but they’re lightly used these days. My site is my primary activity hub. 🥰 I am glad the small web has given you the same sense of peace and you feel more open in your own space! That’s how it should be. ❤️
As for the poll, it is actually part of my forminator plugin! I used WordPress to create my website so a few features like the poll, forms, and activity feed are all plugins that add additional functionality to the site. Check out Censorine’s website on my Clubhouse page! She has a poll feature on her website and I think she uses an external web widget for hers. Hope that helps!
